Open Access Guides & Mandate

Open Access publishing means making material such as journals and conference papers available online for free for everyone to access and re-use.

It is essential for anyone performing research to understand and undertake Open Access publishing as it is a requirement for submissions to the Reference Excellence Framework (REF) 2020 and frequently a requirement of research funders.
